Indian Airlines was a major Indian carrier that had its main operating hub situated at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Indian Airlines was considered one of India's two flagship carriers, the other one being Air India. This airline operated scheduled domestic and international flights to many destinations across South Asia, Southeast Asia and West Asia. On 27 February 2011, the airline ceased its operations and merged with Air India.
