To keep the passengers entertained, they are offered with a choice of more than 500 TV Channels, 100 movies, 80 games, 1000 CD’s and 20 radio channels on the A380 and selected B747 aircrafts. Alternatively, on the A330 and B747 airplanes passengers are offered with around 500 entertainment options including 250 television shows, 10 games, 60 movies, 20 radio programs and 250 CD’s. On the B737-800 aircrafts, choose from more than 300 options that is comprised of 15 movies, 10 games, 16 radio channels, 250 television shows.
In-flight Communication
The state-of-the-art in-flight communication facilities offered by Qantas makes it easy to stay in touch with your loved ones. Once the seat belt sign is off, passengers are allowed to use their personal gadgets and mobile phones onboard. The cabin crew is there to instruct how to use your personal gadgets. The airline offers PC power on all A380 aircrafts and on some international flights too. Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, PC power is limited to an output of 75 watts.
In-flight Dining
Flying in the First Class? Choose from 12 main courses and combine them with a glass of wine and champagne. Business Class passengers are offered a three course meal or can have something light depending on their mood. Passengers are offered with Chicken Schnitzel and Swiss Cheese Toasted Sandwiches and Perry Rockpool inspired menus. Those traveling on the Premium Economy Class can choose from a wide array of snacks and beverages. The main course is well complimented with exotic Australian wines. The Economy Class cabins come equipped with self-service snack bars offering ice-cream, fresh fruit and more.
In-flight Duty Free Shopping
Take advantage of the in-flight duty free shopping and shop for your favorite brands at exciting rates. Choose from a wide variety of accessories, fragrances and electronics. This facility is only available on international flights operated by Qantas Airways. For every Australian dollar spent on shopping, passengers earn one Qantas point that can later be redeemed for extra rewards.
