A vicious hailstorm that swept through Denver Wednesday night canceled flights and damaged planes at Denver International Airport.
More than 1,000 travelers spent the night in the hub after 3/4 inch-diameter hail stones rained down on the region.
Problems are continuing into Thursday with nearly two dozen early morning flights already canceled.
Some of the aircraft reportedly damaged in the storm belong to United. A number of official and passenger vehicles were also damaged although the airport itself did not report any structural damage.
