The Mandalay Bay hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip will open a unique entertainment complex in 2013. The venue will be completely dedicated to late pop icon Michael Jackson.
According to a statement from Cirque du Soleil president Daniel Lammare, the complex will include a Jackson-themed lounge, a memorabilia museum, and a theater designed to recreate the music legend’s famous Neverland Ranch.
Lammare said he hopes the theater will become a permanent gathering place for Jackson’s global fan base to remember the fallen star.
Cirque du Soleil will launch Michael Jackson, the Immortal World Tour in October. The traveling circus troupe will take the show to Montreal, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and Philadelphia before settling in Las Vegas.
