The Boeing 787 Dreamliner makes its first landing in Warsaw

LOT Polish Airlines will be the first European carrier to take delivery of and fly Boeing’s brand new 787 Dreamliner.

The first of the twinjet aircraft is expected to join LOT’s fleet by next summer, with three additional Dreamliners being delivered by the end of 2012. In total, eight Boeing Dreamliners will be added to the LOT fleet.

The next generation aircraft made its first landing Friday in front of hundreds of spectators at Warsaw's Frederic Chopin airport. Boeing had been showing off the 787 Dreamliner all week at the Paris Air Show.
