Iberia to Add Eight A330s to Fleet

Two airlines, Iberia and Cathay Pacific, have placed orders for A330-300 Aircraft with Airbus.

Iberia has asked for eight of the aircrafts from Airbus.  They will be replacing 16 of the Airbus A340 jets. The airline is expected to retrieve the aircrafts between autumn of 2012 and spring of 2014.

Meanwhile Cathay Pacific nearly doubled Iberia’s order with 15. They are expected to get their A330s in 2013. The aircrafts will have the Trent 700 engines from Rolls-Royce implemented.
