Donate Midwest Airlines and fly on AirTran

Today AirTran Airways announced a 30-day promotion that will offer A Rewards frequent flier credits to those who donate at least 50,000 Midwest Miles to charities connected with the Midwest Airlines Miracle Miles program.

Those who contribute 50, 000 Midwest Miles by June 14, 2010 to one of the charities in the program will be given 32 A Rewards credits, or the equivalent of a round-trip Business Class ticket or two coach tickets or two coach tickets.

Donations of 100,000 Midwest Miles will give travelers 64 A Rewards credits good for two round-trip Business Class tickets or four coach tickets. These credits are good anywhere AirTran travels to, including Aruba, Montego Bay, Jamaica, Nassau/Paradise Island, The Bahamas, Cancun, Mexico and other desirable destinations.

“As AirTran Airways continues our Milwaukee expansion, we are constantly looking for ways to be a good community partner and give travelers opportunities to not only enjoy our award-winning service but to join us in giving as well,” said senior vice president of marketing and planning, Kevin Healy.

Moreover, AirTran is also giving contributors the chance to join Milwaukee Brewers all-star and AirTran endorser Ryan Braun at a VIP reception at his new restaurant.

The first 100 people who donate 100,000 Midwest Miles will be invited along with a guest to the event.
