Courtyard by Marriott joins forces with the NFL


Are you ready for some…hotels?! Courtyard by Marriott has been named the official hotel sponsor of the National Football League. The announcement comes after two years of talks between Courtyard and NFL officials. 


The deal means that travelers booking hotel reservations at Courtyard properties may soon be able to cash in reward points for NFL merchandise and even game day tickers. A football fan’s average stay at Courtyard hotels will also get an upgrade with viewing parties planned for all Monday and Thursday night games.


The two sides may also begin branding a “Greatness on the Road” campaign, highlighting the importance of travel to NFL teams and their working-man fans. 


While the partnership is official, the two sides are still working out a plan to optimize their relationship going forward.
