Merlin Entertainment Group, the company behind Legoland Florida, recently said it is looking to bring three of its global attractions to Orlando’s International Drive.
The attractions would be part of the larger I-Walk Orlando project, a planned retail and entertainment complex set to open in 2013.
Proposed attractions include a Madame Tussauds wax museum and the “Orlando Eye”, a 425-foot high observation wheel. Discussions about a third attraction are still ongoing.
If an agreement is reached soon, Merlin could be ready to open the attractions in time for the I-Walk’s launch, scheduled to take place just two years from now.
