With the NBA Finals match-up set between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat, American Airlines is the one that is going to score big.
The travel company owns the naming rights to the stadiums of both teams, American Airlines Center in Dallas and AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.
American Airlines paid out $42 million for the Miami arena and $195 million for the Dallas arena.
So how much advertising dollars will American Airlines get out of the NBA Finals? According to an assessment from Front Row Marketing, which considered game mentions, signs for the airline inside and outside the arena and on-screen mentions it equates to over $10 million per game.
American Airlines would take in over $10.5 of advertising dollars for a game in Dallas and over $10.7 million for a game in Miami.
