For those of you who’ve recently entered this new era of life – THE THIRTIES – and aren’t sure exactly which adventure to set out on next to embrace this pivotal milestone, then we advise you to keep reading.

Past your twenties you’ll continue to still seek new adventures, but probably not as wild of an adventure as the days behind. Once you hit your thirties, you’ll come to realize what a great time it is to travel to new places — especially alone. If you’re looking to socialize with new people and have some life-changing experiences, then consider this list of destinations around the globe and start planning!

Sydney, Australia
It’s one of the most friendliest places in the world! Start the day by grabbing a delicious cup of coffee from a local cafe and head to one of the many picturesque beaches. If you’re up for some exploring, check out the variety of museums and famous landmarks like the Sydney Opera House...of course!
Tokyo, Japan
If you’re a fan of NYC then you’ll surely fall in love with everything Tokyo has to offer. Although the city can be closely compared to the Big Apple, it has its differences - like the culture. Get to the largest fish market in the world, Tsukiji Market, shop til’ you drop on Ginza (the 5th Ave. of NYC), be a tourist everywhere you can, and don’t forget to indulge in some authentic ramen!
Mykonos, Greece
The breathtaking Greek island of Mykonos is the perfect destination to unwind. Whether you choose to sunbathe on the beach, swim in the crystal blue water, or take part in the daily party scene. In addition to all that, shop around the island, and snap picture-perfect photos of the opulent houses and buildings. Those who travel here solo or accompanied are guaranteed to have a fulfilled experience.
Boracay, Philippines
At only 4 miles long and a mile wide, this tiny island located in Southeast Asia has it all. From the white sand beaches to colorful sunsets and friendly locals, thirty somethings will love this destination! You can find the action on Boracay on White Beach - the perfect sands lined with restaurants, bars, and shops. And if you’re looking for some nightlife Boracay has it! The party scene will have you mingling with locals and other travelers on oceanside bar crawls.
Cape Town, South Africa
Because what can’t one do in Cape Town? And by that, we mean the activities are endless; from one-of-a-kind safaris to wine and scenic tours, this destination is an eye opener for sure. Get up close to wildlife or take a ride in the cable cars to the top of Table Mountain for unbelievable views. Although it may be pricey to get there, you wouldn't want to put this trip off till later.
Queenstown, New Zealand
To experience some real adventure, head to New Zealand’s South Island for Queenstown! If you’re feeling daring and interested in an adrenaline rush, then bungee jumping, zorbing (go ahead, Google it!), horseback riding, and skiing is what to add to your itinerary while you’re here. For less of an extreme experience, Queenstown hosts a fine dining scene and nightlife. There are also a number of wineries to enjoy some decadent glasses of vino.
Cinque Terre, Italy
While traveling alone to Italy’s most crowded tourists destinations such as Rome and Florence, may get hectic and rather annoying, we suggest you escape to Cinque Terre. While you’re here take advantage of the 11-mile stretch of the Italian Riviera, the town of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. These towns have enough to keep you entertained for the duration of your stay. You’ll find rocky cliffs, colorful buildings, olive groves, and vineyards… all of which make a photo extremely Instagram worthy!
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Taking a trip to the cosmopolitan capital city of Argentina while in your 30s will make for a trip to remember. Tour the major attractions, enjoy the fine dining of high-quality beef and wine, perfect your tango skills, and take in all this beautiful city has to offer. Oh, and before you go you should know this is another city that doesn’t sleep when it comes to the nightlife!
