And don’t leave without trying the bratwurst and beer! London, England London is one of the best international cities for first-time travelers, especially if you’re an English speaker. Since London is one of the larger cities in Europe (think of it as the British NYC), we recommend that you visit here first if you’re planning a long trip. This way, you can slowly acclimate yourself to your travel adventure without having to worry about any language barriers. You’ll also have many different types of cuisines to choose from, so you won’t have to worry about going hungry. Go sightseeing at any of London’s many historic sites such as the Westminster Abbey or the Tower of London. If you’re a fan of nightlife, London would be the perfect destination for you with its bustling night scene. Not to mention, the views in London are breathtaking and will make for great photos.
