Just a short walk to many Seattle attractions including Pike Place Market and many cruise ship terminals, the Fairmont Olympic is a fantastic hotel for families hoping to stay in the heart of the Seattle action. From a great staff that hotel offers exceptional ideas, tips and tricks for visiting Seattle with kids, to luxury accommodations, and kid friendly perks, score cheap tickets to Seattle and try the Fairmont Olympic.
The rooms at the Fairmont Olympic are very lovely, decorated with a classic yet contemporary decor. Extremely soft and comfy beds make for a fantastic night's sleep. The large, luxurious bathroom and closet space give families plenty of room to spread out their belongings and feel at home. Kids can get cozy in kid-sized bath robes, a feature that made my three girls feel especially fancy and welcomed. Upon check in, you'll also get a coupon for nighttime milk & cookies that can be redeemed from room service. There is nothing fancier than late night milk and cookies in PJs and a plush bathrobe! 🙂 Families traveling with kids or babies can request tear free shampoo, diapers, baby toiletries, and much more. If you want an early morning cup of joe in your room, be sure to ask for a coffee maker, they are no longer standard but can be included.
Be sure to take advantage of the health club during your visit. Your kids will love the indoor swimming pool, open until 8pm each night (9pm for guests over 14). Kick boards and pool toys are available for use and you can enjoy complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit while poolside! Kid's menus and kid-friendly options are available at every on site restaurant including The Georgian Restaurant, Shuckers, and The Terrace, the more casual of the three. If you need to get between point A and point B, take advantage of the hotel car which took our family to Seattle Center without the hassle of hailing a taxi. In addition to getting a dedicated drop and card for return, the driver was especially friendly to my children and offered his best tips and recommendations on what to do while visiting the city.
