Bring the Spa On the Road with the Spa Sonic CheapOair Staff October 17, 2013 Interests This blog post was updated on September 22, 2014. My beauty routine often suffers when I’m on the road, because I typically only bring along the bare minimum with me. Of course, that’s when I end up getting a breakout or massive patch of dry skin. I recently received a Spa Sonic skin care system that is perfect for travel. I’ll definitely be tucking this into my toiletry bag the next time I travel. The Spa Sonic retails anywhere from about $70 – $50 and is available online and at drugstores and mass retailers. It’s waterproof, so it can be used in the shower, which can be a big time saver in the morning. The device comes with a small facial brush (good for every day use), a large body brush (also good for every day use), a facial buffer (for the occasional deep exfoliation), and a pumice stone (for rough spots and areas). The Spa Sonic uses four AA batteries, which are included in the package. Using the Spa Sonic is easy. I prefer to use the small facial brush and the large body brush in the shower. Then, when I use my regular skin care products, they seem to absorb and work better. I add just a bit of my regular facial and body wash to the brush so I’m cleaning at the same time. I’ve been using the Spa Sonic for a few weeks now, and have definitely seen improvement. I especially like the body brush – it’s great at getting rid of those rough patches that always seem to appear as soon as the weather cools down. The pumice stone is perfect for an at-home or on-the-road pedicure. The brushes do need to be replaced every few months and can be purchased online. To learn more about the Spa Sonic, go here.
