Mummer’s Parade

Held in the city of Philadelphia, Mummer’s Parade is an internationally-known event is one of the longest running events in the USA. This parade includes music and participators in lavish and original costumes, with more than 10,000 elaborated attired men and women strutting along the parade route. The climax of the event comes at City Hall where the official judging takes place. This parade is held in early to mid-January.

Groundhog Day

Held in Punxsutawney, Groundhog Day offers a weather forecast from internationally-recognized weather expert, Punxsutawney Phil - a groundhog. Tradition has it that if he sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter weather ad if his shadow isn’t visible, there will be an early spring. Festivities o Groundhog Day also include the Woodchuck Whittle Carving Show, Phil’s Wedding Chapel, the Souvenir Show & Sale, Groundhog Day in the Park, Hay Ride Town Tours, and much more. It is held in early February.

International Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous

Held in Ridgway, International Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous is a celebration of chainsaw carving. In the event, more than 200 chainsaw carvers from all over the world showcase their talents, share and learn new techniques, teach the craft to the visitors. The money raised from the event goes to the charities.
