Jagatnatha Temple

Inside the temple walls, tourists can still see the relics of the older days such as stone motifs and carvings depicting episodes from Ramayana.

Turtle Conservation and Education Center

Located in south Denpasar, Turtle Conservation and Education Center serves as a sanctuary, hatchery, and nursery for sea turtles accidently caught by fishermen in the near waters and around the Serangan Island. This shelter boasts a number of pools where turtles are kept according to their size, age, species, and are supervised by a team providing information about them.

Bali Provincial Public Museum

Bali Provincial Public Museum is located right next to the mayor's office and the Puputan Badung Civic Square. The museum is the oldest on Bali Island and boasts more than 10,000 exhibits. In the museum, there are three separate pavilions named after Bali's regencies: Buleleng, Karangasem, and Tabanan. Each of these pavilions houses a collection of art and ethnography, ceramics, ancient inscriptions, porcelain statues, agricultural tools, wayang kulit (shadow puppets), weapons, paintings, ritual tools, and more.
