The Ballaja Barracks is a series of military barracks located in San Juan. Built during 1854 to
1864 AD, these barracks were built by the Spanish army and came good during
the Spanish-American War near the end of the 19th century.
Catedral Metropolitana Basilica de San Juan Bautista (or Metropolitan
Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist)
The Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist is the Roman
Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico. It is one
of the oldest buildings in the city and contains the tomb of the Spanish
explorer Juan Ponce de Leon.
