The church serves as the headquarters of Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Petra and Philadelphia in Amman. Other than its spiritual significance, the church is also an architectural delight.

Ich bin in der Nacht angekommen. Es war einfach ein Taxi am Flughafen zu finden. Es gat nur 30 CHF franc gekostet wobei die Reise war ueber 40 km gewesen.Der Taxi fahrer war nett und hilfsbereit. Am ahotel war unsere barat und sauber. Die sie nett und empfelungswart.
