country. It was built by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of
the Qutb Shahi dynasty. Every minaret of the monument has four stories with
a carved ring. There are 45 prayer spaces for devotees. Towards the west
end of Charminar is Mecca Masjid, which is one of the oldest mosques of
