Natural Attractions Worth Driving To
- Just 25 miles outside of Medford is the Roxy Ann Peak, part of Prescott Park. Open year-round for hiking, picnicking, biking and more, the Peak -- actually a dormant volcano -- stands at 3,756 feet and offers a splendid panoramic view of Rogue Valley.
- A bit farther away -- 64 miles from town, to be precise -- is Crater Lake National Park. Scenic highway Rim Drive circles the caldera rim of the lake, which shines a flawless azure during summer. For an even closer look, visitors can take a boat tour across the waters.
