Because only half of the group need to travel differently, it took several calls to Iberia Airlines directly and because of the time difference, Nicko coordinated and helped me over a couple of days. Rated one of the worlds four Meccas of Wreck Diving by PADI Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, Chuuk is home to a ghostly seabed consisting of an entire fleet of Imperial Japanese Navy that had met its Waterloo due to relentless bombing by Allied Powers in 1944. Once you dive-in here, you would see the 7 year old wrecked shipwrecks being royally encased in a timeless case of the islands reef system, well protected from deep sea currents. The wreckage site called Fujikawa Maru. It was a passenger ship built by Mitsubishi Company in 1938 and its wreck is rated as one of the top 1 wreck dives in the world.
