Ibiza is the third largest of 5 islands on the Balearic Islands in Spain. This island is an open bracket of some superb seaside beauty and is superseded by an eclectic mix of golden sands, clear blue waters, olive, almond and fig groves, salt lakes, pine forests , many historic buildings, rollicking nightlife, a pulsating music scene and several summer clubs. If you're through with this atypical dose of heavy Mediterranean magnetism, a trip to the inside of Ibiza Cathedral and some old stone cottages is on the islands hilly contours. If you would add to it the typical Spanish hallmark of incredible sights and sounds through its cultural and dance festivals and the typical Mediterranean ambiance, you could well might be in for a treat.

Places of Interest in Ibiza
The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows is the principal church and cathedral of the City of Ibiza. Overlooking the evolution over last eight centuries, it was constructed as a beloved series of five chapels dedicated to local saints. Current structure is a result of multiple renovations like a trapezoidal bell tower, a polygonal apse and five chapels- all depicting a hallmark of 16th century Catalan Gothic architecture. Its interiors depict a stunning trio of 14th century Gothic monstrance of golden silver and two Gothic panels of Saint Tecla and Saint Anthony.
Es Vedra
Es Vedra is a small, rocky uninhabited island near Ibiza. This 413 meter tall island is a part of the Cala dHort nature reserve and lies 1.5 miles off the coast of Cala dHort. Common folklore assumes that this mysterious island is considered to be home to Phoenician lunar goddess Tanit, sea-nymphs, strong magnetic fields and an alien base. You would find a profound panoramic view of the seas and other islands from its apex, while the base region is the place to see some wild goats and an endangered bird species called Eleonora falcon.
Formentera Island
Frometera Island is the smallest and most southerly of the Balearic Islands of Spain. It is situated at a 1.5 hours trip from Ibiza and is characterized by Caribbean beaches that are known for their crystal white sands and transparent waters. You can purchase goggles (that would cost from 1 to 2) and go snorkeling all the way through the seabed.
