varieties of plants and is one of Australia’s largest collections. Visitors

Winninowie Conservation Park
Winninowie Conservation Park is a protected area located on the east coast
of Upper Spencer Gulf, about 12 miles away from the city of Port Augusta.
This conservation park was established in 1990 to conserve coastal and
marine ecosystems in a temperate environment, and consequently home to a
remarkable range of different vegetation species like grey mangrove and
seagrass. The Winninowie Conservation Park is flanked by a marine protected
area called Yatala Harbour Upper Spencer Gulf Aquatic Reserve.
Blanche Harbour
Situated about 15 miles away from the city center, the Blanche Harbour was
originally full of four-wheeled drive tracks and a heavy outgrowth of
