Flinders Discovery Centre and Museum

Housed within the Flinders Discovery Centre and Museum is an amazing exhibition of dinosaur fossils from around the world and from the local area. The prime attraction here is “Hughie”, it was cast from the original bones of a 110-million-year-old dinosaur found in the Flinders Shire. Countless fossils are displayed beautifully in individual glass cabinets. These are labeled and range from crustaceous animals in rock to ammonites ranging in size, color, and shape from all over the world. Porcupine Gorge National Park

The Porcupine Gorge National Park is known as the “Little Grand Canyon” of Australia.
