Grand Palace

Located some distance away from the Grand Palace, stands the country�s oldest temple- Wat Pho. A star attraction here is a 45 meter long and 15 meter high statue of Lord Buddha that explains its alternative name of the Temple of the Reclining Buddha Wat Pho is also called Wat Chetuphon, It is a preferred place of healing and is famous for its spiritual ambiance. Visitors can get themselves pampered by Thai or foot massages in traditional medical school located in the temple.

Wat Arun (�Temple of Dawn�)

Wat Arun is a famous Buddhist temple situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. It derives its name from the Hindu god Aruna, who is personified as the radiations of the rising sun. This temple is famous because the first light of the day reflects from its spires with white iridescence. The temple is said to be about 400 years old though its distinctive spires were built in the early 19th century.

Best Time to Fly to Bangkok
