Situated beside Tollensesee Lake, Neubrandenburg is a city in Germany. Nicknamed as “City of Four Gates” (Stadt der Vier Tore), Neubrandenburg is named so because of its four medieval gates. The Church of Virgin Mary (St. Mary's Church)

For more than seven centuries, the Church of Virgin Mary is the most significant and largest monument in Neubrandenburg. Since its construction, the church has been reconstructed numerous times due to various reasons. The present day concert church was opened in the year 2001. Later in the year 2007 five new bells and a new bell-chair were added in the St. Mary's Church tower.

Neubrandenburg Regional Museum

Located in Neubrandenburg, the Neubrandenburg Regional Museum is a cultural history museum. The museum was established in the year 1872 with the initiates of Neubrandenburg Museum Society. The society opened a permanent exhibition showcasing the history of the region in the year 1873. This permanent exhibition is displayed in the Treptow Gate's main tower.
