Mimi Aboriginal Art and Craft is based in Katherine. It is wholly owned by
Aboriginals of the region. The art style of the Mimi Art and Craft

or linen, jewellery, didgeridoos, prints, carvings, and weaponry. All
communities & groups of the Katherine region are represented here. Most
of the techniques & styles have been sourced from the people of

Katherine Outback Heritage Museum
The Katherine Outback Heritage Museum was initially established during
World War II as an air thermal for the region. At present it holds
collection of artifacts, maps, photographs, and memorabilia. Also housed
here are Aboriginal artifacts of the region, furniture, home wares, and
tools ranging from late 19th - mid 20th Century. The outdoor exhibits of
the museum reveal the rich heritage of rural machinery & household
