MONA FOMA

The full form of MONA FOMA is Museum of Old and New Art - Festival of Music and Art and is often further shortened to MOFO. It is an annual festival orchestrated by Brian Ritchie bass player from the rock band Violent Femmes. This festival is the largest contemporary music festival in Tasmania. MONA FOMA displays the works of artists in an extensive range of art forms including dance, sound, visual art, theater, performance, and new media.
