The Lions Park
The Lions Park is situated towards the west of the town of Blackwater. In

Japanese Garden
The Japanese Garden in the town of Blackwater was opened on 1st August
1998. It shares the Sister Town Relationship with Fujisawa, Japan. It was
constructed by Duaringa Shire council staff in association with around 14
Japanese gardeners and carpenters. Nearly 600 tonnes of ornamental stones
have been used in the garden. A children's playground has been setup
adjacent to the garden. It features restored steam locomotive, mining
equipment display, and tourist information center.
