Lubang Island is the largest island in the Lubang Group of Islands and is about 150 kilometers from Manila. The Lubang Group of Islands has seven islands in the group and Lubang covers the western half of Lubang Island and Cabra Island.

The Cabra Island Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse built on Cabra Island, the westernmost of the Lubang group of islands. It was the first completed during Spain's revitalized program of lighthouse construction in the Philippines and now the original lighthouse was replaced by the Philippine Coast Guard with a new solar-powered tower.
