It is now owned and operated by Norterra which operates scheduled flights to Nunavut and other Northwestern Communities such as Nova Scotia and Ontario. In-Flight Amenities

To maximize your travel experience, Canadian North offers a multitude of amenities on-board.

Canadian North serves snacks on all flights of less than 60 minutes. On longer flights, passengers are with one to two hot meals at meal time, select flights offer you the choice of opting for one free meal out of the two.

Alcoholic drinks (Canadian beer and wine) are offered during the flight against proof of age during legal service hours. All non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, tea, soft drinks and juices, offered on the menu are complimentary. No additional hidden charges.

All seats have ample leg room for you to stretch your legs and sufficient overhead storage. In addition, passengers are allowed advanced seat selection to make the journey more relaxing and comfortable.

Enjoy the services of a multi lingual crew proficient in Inuvialuktun, Inuktitut and French apart from English.

Flyers have access to complimentary newspapers and magazines.

For young passengers, Canadian North offers special seat selection along with other facilities such as free coloring books and crayons to keep them engaged throughout the journey.

Online Check-In
Canadian North flyers can check-in online if they are taking the scheduled flights. The check in closes an hour before departure to ensure you do it well beforehand. Charter customers need to check-in at the local charter facility. Rewards Programs and Perks
Canadian Air offers Aeroplan rewards points to passengers. These points can be collected and  redeemed as Air Miles on traveling on Canadian North again. Furthermore, Aurora Rewards allows passengers to redeem points for gift cards and northern items such as a subscription to the leading Canadian publications such as, Up Here and Big Catch. On reaching 12,000 points, a free short haul flight can also be availed. Aurora Concierge from Canadian North is designed to reward and recognize loyal passengers. Qualify for annual membership after only 10 roundtrip flights and enjoy in-flight beverages, extra baggage allowances and priority check-in and boarding.  Frequent flyers can also use Air Canada’s Maple Leaf lounges while flying on code sharing flights.
