I have not received my email confirmation. What should I do?

Please click on the "Check My Booking" link on the top of the page or click here to view your booking status and details. Once you are on the "Check My Booking" page, you may please enter either the email address used while creating your booking or your first name, last name and booking reference number / flight departure date or hotel check in date or Car pick-up date as the case maybe.

Once the above details are entered, you will be able to view the last three bookings created by you. Please select the booking you need to view by clicking on "Details". This will display the "Booking Receipt and Confirmation" page for the selected booking. You may choose to email the itinerary to yourself by clicking on the "Email this page" link on the top right corner of the page under "Page Tools" section.

In case you do not find any results for your search, please verify the information entered or contact us at 1-866-636-9088 and a friendly customer service agent will be glad to assist you.

How can I book my Travel?

Our self serve website offers many ways to book your travel. You may narrow your search down by using the "More Search Options" feature on the flight page. Once you select this tab you can narrow down the passenger's ages, and select from three preferred airlines of your choice. We also offer additional search options to select the type of flight, jet service only, refundable tickets options and the min/max stay restrictions. There is a final option to use alternate airports to widen your search.

Enter the desired departure and arrival information in the form. Our booking engine performs a comprehensive search of the fares in our database and displays all flight options, beginning with the lowest-priced flight. When your options are displayed, you may sort by shortest flight or requested time. Simply choose a flight that matches your needs and click the "Select Flight" button. The booking engine will display all of the details regarding your chosen flight. You need only complete a short information form to complete your booking.

I need to cancel my ticket. Can I get a refund?

As stated in the terms and conditions all Air, Hotel and Car reservations are "Non-Refundable". If changes are allowed, then you may cancel your "Non-Refundable" tickets and reissue them for future use against applicable fees and fare difference. For "Refundable" tickets, refunds phone calls are logged on requests basis and then are checked as per the Airline rules and regulations. In case of paper tickets, you will be required to send us the unused tickets once your refund request is accepted. Please ensure the paper tickets are sent to us via FedEx, UPS, DHL or other service where tracking is possible.

Refunds are not allowed by the Airlines where:

You have not cancelled your reservation within the stipulated timeframe or at least 24hrs prior to departure. These are considered as "No Show" and Airlines do not process refunds for "No Show" tickets.
Passenger has not provided to us the paper tickets in original. This is only applicable where paper tickets are issued.

Please note that refunds are credited to the original form of payment and while all attempts are made to process refund requests at the earliest, for reasons beyond our control, it may take up to 6-8 weeks and in rare cases even beyond for the same to reflect in your statement.

* Please note if using a Canadian credit card, a currency conversion rate is applied and some banks charge an additional fee to refund.

How do I select my seats?

No automatic seat assignment is done at the time of booking a flight. You may request for seats either during the initial booking process or post confirmation of your flights. In case you have entered a seating preference (window or Aisle seat) at the time of booking, we send this preference to the respective airline. However seat requests are not guaranteed and may vary from the one requested.

In order to select your seats post booking confirmation, please click on "Check My Booking" link and enter your email address or name to locate your booking. Once the "Booking Receipt and Confirmation" page is open, select "Request Seat" directly under each flight number. If the airline allows pre-assigned seating on this flight, a seat map will appear. You can then select any available seat for this flight.

Please note:

Advanced seating policies vary from airline to airline.
Some airlines may charge for pre-assignment of seats well in advance.
Bulk Head and Emergency Exit row Seating are controlled by the airlines and cannot be pre-assigned.
If you wish to reconfirm your seats, you must contact the airline directly within 72hrs of flight departure. Please click here for a list of airline contact numbers.
Last minute seating requests can only be assigned at the Airline Check-in counters.
Final seating assignments are under the control of the respective airline.

Do you accept credit and debit cards? What are the restrictions?

CheapOair.com accepts credit and debit cards. However we are unable to accept cash or checks as payment. We accept major US and Canadian Credit cards including:

Visa
MasterCard
American Expres
Discover card * Some international airlines do not accept Discover card.
All payments must be in US dollars

Tips on using your debit card:

If you choose to use your debit rather than your credit card be advised that funds are immediately withdrawn from your account at the time of purchase.
Some debit cards cannot be verified. This may delay the issuance of your tickets and may affect the fare.
If you wish to use a debit card, please have a credit card available as a backup in case we are unable to verify your debit card.

Please note: Many major car companies will not accept debit cards, at the time of pickup, for rental or insurance payments.

I’m having trouble booking online. Can someone help me?

How do I change the dates of my flight ticket?

All change requests must be made by calling our 24hours a day 7 days a week Customer Service Helpline # 1-866-636-9088 .

Please note:

Not all tickets allow changes.
While most tickets that permit changes have a fee attached to them at the time of reissue of the ticket.
In addition, there may be a difference in fare for the changed itinerary and agency fee will also be applicable.
Some tickets do not allow any changes, even with a fee.
Even if the ticket allows changes, certain type of changes may not be permitted.
In case the original reservation was not cancelled within a designated timeframe, some airlines may not allow any changes to be done.
Travelers name cannot be changed or the tickets cannot be transferred to someone else.
Exchange of ticket from one airline to another is not permitted.
Some other restrictions may apply such as routing, dates available, etc.

What are the baggage restrictions for the flights I booked?

Many US carriers have changed their baggage allowance for both checked and carry on luggage. It’s also common now to be charged for checked luggage by many US airlines. In addition to the reviewing the information here, you are advised to contact the airline you’re flying to determine exact baggage policies.

What does Travel insurance cover?

Some examples of covered reasons for this Protection Plan include, trip cancellation/interruption including illness, injury or death of you, a family member or traveling companion; traffic accident en route to departure; a documented theft of passports or visas; mandatory evacuation; terrorism; and your home has become uninhabitable by hurricane or natural disaster.

This Protection Plan provides coverage for baggage or other personal effects that are lost, damaged or stolen while on your trip. If your baggage is delayed this plan will provide coverage for the purchase of emergency essential items if your baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours.

This Protection Plan also provides coverage for pre-existing medical conditions if you purchase the insurance within 180 days of initial payment for your trip and you are medically able to travel at the time payment is made for the insurance.
