DC is amazing but two days is not enough to enjoy it all. I suggest you to check first the events happening then you will plan aroung them.

I went for the 4th of July long weekend. I saw fireworks from the Washington Monument! It was amazing! There was music to match the theme of fireworks. It is probably the best fireworks display in the nation. DC was a great experience, and overall was not as busy as I had initially thought.

Autumn leaves, magnificent monuments on the mall, and a lovely trip into the Virginia countryside; it's always good to spend a bit of time in our nation's capitol.

My travel to DCA and from DCA was wonderful. Both flights to and from the DC area went well and was on time. The flight home to El Paso was 15 minutes early. The landing in El Paso was the best landing I have EVER experienced.

Our Nation's capital is a family friendly place to visit, with plenty of great, and free, museums to explore. The monuments and memorials are all very interesting and very worth the visit.

From the check-in at Charleston airport for our US Air flight, the taxi drivers, the hotel in Washington, The Capitol and other interesting venues, the food /restaurants,the nice people serving . It was a trip to be remembered and repeated!

What a great trip to experience the history of our country. A must see for all Americans, from all the monuments to the Smithsonian. Also spent time lobbing to our Senators and Congressman.

Great place to visit, but there was tons of traffic. Its a huge change from where I came from. However, there are so many amazing things to see in this town.
