My daughter had a round trip from college in Scotland for her Christmas break at home in Northern Virginia. We recommend Air France for this trip.

On time flight, no issues, my airport voucher for parking in Orlando (Park to Fly) was perfect and half the cost of onsite airport parking.

Washington DC is a rich destination: beautiful buildings along the Mall, free museums, fabulous food, lots of green space, a rich culture of performing arts, arboretum and zoo, and neighboring states (Maryland, Virginia) with so much to offer. Any time of year, this is a great place to visit.

DC is beautiful and charming. Tons of things to do and sites to see. It provides the best of both worlds: busy city life with much to do meets quaint, warm, peaceful, small town feel. My trip was in the last week of October and the fall leaves were goregous cascading throughout the hilly landscape of DC as the streams peak through. The monuments, memorials, and museums made me proud to be an american! Taking me back in another time, surrounded by powerful people who were and others who persist is a energizing feeling. I just throughly enjoyed it all! Much exquiste shopping for all the shoppers. Any age is sure to have a great time! Make sure to bring an umbrella though! It rained on myself and my friends while site seeing, but it did not at all take away from our time. Ben's Chili Bowl is a must for a tasty soulful lunch. I highly reccommend this trip to all patriots!

Thanks to the great airline tickets we got through CheapoAir, we had a great time in DC. Sooo many things to see and do and all the Smithsonian Museums are free! The weather was great and the people were very friendly. Public transportation is a great way to get around town, too.
