Coke fans of the world have a place to play. Atlanta\u2019s World of Coca Cola<\/a>, located downtown in the heart of Atlanta\u2019s best attractions, is a great place to cool off from the heat and enjoy some historic refreshment.<\/p>\n

The museum covers Coca-Cola history, which began in Atlanta over 125 years ago. Coca-Cola has come a long way since its initial price of five cents per glass, and a large majority of this journey is documented in the World of Coca-Cola Museum. The museum houses more than 1,200 coke-themed artifacts from around the globe.<\/p>\n

Step inside \u201cThe Vault\u201d to take a peak at where the secret formula is hidden. Inside this area, you can explore hands-on activities, try your hand at mixing your own soda recipe in an interactive computer game, and learn the history of the secret formula.<\/p>\n

The Bottle Works area gives you the chance to explore a working bottling factory where you can watch bottles be filled, capped, packed, and ready for shipment. Outside, kids can meet the Coca-Cola bear and snap a picture with him.<\/p>\n

A 4D movie, In Search of the Secret Formula<\/em>, puts guests in the action with not only 3D picture, but also a few surprises along the way. The Perfect Pauses Theater goes through the history of Coca-Cola advertising – no doubt the commercials and print ads from your childhood will be featured.<\/p>\n

The most exciting part of the tour is visiting \u201cTaste It\u201d: a Coca-Cola tasting room. Here you can sample over 60 products from five different geographic areas around the world!\u00a0 Your tour ends with a nice, cold original Coca-Cola just in case you didn\u2019t get enough sampling.<\/p>\n

The Coca-Cola store is on site to handle all of your souvenir needs, and the Pemberton Caf\u00e9, named after Coca-Cola\u2019s creator, sits adjacent to the museum and is open for lunch and dinner daily.<\/p>\n

The World of Coca-Cola is open seven days\/week. Tickets<\/a> for adults are $19, kids 3-12 are $15, and kids 2 and under are free.<\/p>\n
