The site of Iceland’s first settlement, H\u00fasav\u00edk is filled with rich Viking history. This isn\u2019t its only claim to fame. H\u00fasav\u00edk is also an awesome spot for whale watching. Experiencing the H\u00fasav\u00edk Whale Museum after seeing the real thing totally enhances the experience! For nature lovers, this city also provides the perfect opportunity to explore a bunch of excellent hiking trails all year round (yes, even in the snowy Iceland winter!).<\/p>\n

Sey\u00f0isfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is the perfect slice of paradise. The contrast of its multicolored wooded houses, cascading waterfalls, and snowcapped mountains is truly extraordinary. Filled with a small community of artists and musicians (there\u2019s less than 700 residents in the whole town), its LungA art festival brings together top musicians and fashion designers for workshops and exhibitions in mid-July.<\/p>\n
