Toro Verde, Puerto Rico<\/h2>\n

Located about an hour outside of San Juan, Toro Verde nature park offers a spectacular views and thrilling zip line rides. Dubbed Toro La Bestia, the face down zip line takes you flying (at speeds up to 60 mph) through a 4,745-foot-long-long rainforest valley.<\/p>\n

America\u2019s first zip line, Skyline Tour<\/a>, was started by a father-and-son duo in 2002, and it\u2019s still going strong. Located on the way to the Haleakala Crater summit (on the island of Maui), these five zip lines take you on a high-flying adventure through forests and hiking trails. There\u2019s even a series of swinging bridges if your heart can take more action!<\/p>\n

Miss Sky Canopy Tour, Costa Rica<\/h2>\n

If you want to experience the world\u2019s longest zip lining tour (a thrilling 7 miles), then you\u2019d better head to Nosara, Costa Rica<\/a>. Comprised of 21 runs (most of which are at least 1,500 feet long) several hundred feet above the ground, the Miss Sky Canopy Tour<\/a> takes you through a stunning forest preserve that\u2019s home to howler monkeys and breathtaking waterfalls. After all of that action, you\u2019ll want to unwind with a drink at the final stop (which conveniently happens to be a disco bar).<\/p>\n

Flight of the Gibbon, Cambodia<\/h2>\n

Situated within the Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that\u2019s also home to the Angkor Wat Temple, Flight of the Gibbon<\/a> is a 10-line zip line course with four sky bridges. You\u2019ll be high up in the trees \u2013 the perfect spot to commune with gibbons – the cute monkeys that inhabit the forest.<\/p>\n

SkyRider Zipline Tour, New York<\/h2>\n

The SkyRider Zipline Tour <\/a>is located on Hunter Mountain, approximately two hours north of New York City. You\u2019ll need to take a chair lift high up into the Catskills so that you can zip line all the way down. With over 4 miles of cables and speeds up to 50 mph, the longest canopy tour in America is about as thrilling as it gets.<\/p>\n

Xtreme ZipRider, Utah<\/h2>\n

Thrill seekers will want to head to Utah\u2019s Olympic Park to experience the steepest zip line in America (and one of the steepest in the world) with an average grade of 34%. The 1,500-ft Xtreme ZipRider<\/a> will take you on a 60 mph drop of 500 feet. Yikes\u2026 I mean, fun!<\/p>\n

Zip World Snowdonia, Wales<\/h2>\n

Snowdonia National Park at Penrhyn Quarry (which was once the biggest slate quarry in the world) is home to the longest zip line in Europe (almost a mile), Zip World Snowdonia<\/a>. Not only is it long, it\u2019s also super fast, with speeds of up to 100 mph.<\/p>\n
