You might have to go back to work on Monday morning, but this time, we\u2019ve done the planning for you. Here\u2019s how to spend a full Saturday and Sunday making memories in Newport. You deserve this!<\/p>\n

You might be a Newport newbie, but that doesn\u2019t mean you should have to eat like one! Skip the fast food joints and dine like a local by embarking on one of the city\u2019s numerous food tours. Rhode Island Red Food Tours<\/a>, for example, offers three-and-a-half-hour walking tours through Newport\u2019s Historic Neighborhood, where foodies have the opportunity to sample fine foods from local eateries. While the actual lighthouse isn\u2019t open to the public, the bay area and its surrounding footpaths are as easy to tread across as they are gorgeous.
