\nMinnesota's Iron Range region, which is the hometown of legendary singer Bob Dylan, want him to come home and perform where it all began.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe town has definitely changed their turn since the last time the 68-year old musical icon previously did a show there.\n<\/p>\n
\n \n<\/p>\n
\nWhen Dylan last rocked Iron Range, he was billed under his real name Robert Zimmerman and was not accepted by locals (he was also not famous).\n<\/p>\n
\n \n<\/p>\n
\nZimmerman fled the Midwest for New York, changed his name to Bob Dylan and never looked back. But Northern Minnesota is hoping he will reconsider.\n<\/p>\n
\n \n<\/p>\n
\nUsing Social Media sites like Facebook and Twitter, Iron Range Tourism Bureau is asking fans of the rocker to sign a petition asking Mr. Dylan to come home.\n<\/p>\n
\n \n<\/p>\n
\nDylan is currently on tour and has yet to respond to the request for his appearance.\n<\/p>\n
\n \n<\/p>\n
