Slater wants his job at JetBlue back <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Despite his dramatic exit down a JetBlue aircraft\u2019s emergency slide, Steven Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant who cursed out a passenger over a plane\u2019s loud speaker, wants his job back. Well, that\u2019s the information Slater\u2019s lawyers gave reporters in New York on Thursday.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s his life,\u201d Slater\u2019s Legal Aid defense attorney, Howard Turman, said. \u201cHis father was a pilot; his mother was a flight attendant. That\u2019s in his blood. That\u2019s what he likes to do,\u201d Turman continued as he spoke to the press outside of Slater\u2019s home in Queens, NY.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Slater\u2019s attorney, the fleeing flight attendant has hopes of returning to the aviation business. Slater was portrayed as being a hard worker, who would love to continue to work for JetBlue in particular as he\u2019s loved working for the airline.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n JetBlue on the other hand, may not take back the gutsy flight attendant after this week\u2019s high-profile incident has placed it dead smack in the middle of dramatic airline news.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
