The Aloha State airline wants to get these babies on the runway due to a soon to be added Asia route. <\/p>\n<p>\n&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\nCommenting on the new timeframe for the aircrafts arrival, Hawaiian Airlines President and CEO Mark Dunkerly said in a statement: &quot;Having recently announced new service to Asia and recognizing that<br \/>\nfurther opportunities for new flights may develop in the next year, we<br \/>\nhave been fortunate to be able to accelerate the delivery of one of our<br \/>\nA330s on very short notice.&quot;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe new planes, which will allot 30 more passengers each onboard, will include touch screen LCD high resolution monitors on each of the 294 seatbacks. Hawaiians plans include 10 A330s to debut over the next four years and purchase rights to five more eventually.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\nHawaiian Airlines unveiled their first two A330s back in June for Honolulu-Los Angeles service.&nbsp; The company plans to receive two deliveries per year through 2014.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- end storycontent --><\/p>\n<div style=\"overflow: hidden; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; border: medium none\">\n\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hawaiian Airlines announced Thursday that it is speeding up the scheduled due time of their Airbus A330-200 planes by almost two years.
