\nSure, NYC is beautiful, but behind these city walls live lots and lots of BEDBUGS! <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \nAccording to a recent study by Terminix, bedbugs are more prevalent in New York City than anywhere else in the U.S.A. Behind the City That Never Sleeps on a list of 15 most bedbug-infested locations are the cities of Philadelphia and Detroit, in fourth place is Cincinnati marking the first of three Ohio cities making the top ten.\n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \nThe list also includes Chicago, Denver, Columbus, Ohio, Dayton, Ohio, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Boston, Indianapolis, Louisville, Kentucky, Cleveland and Minneapolis.\n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \nEntomologist for Terminix, Paul Curtis, says “It’s no surprise that highly trafficked cities such as New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles are on the list.” \n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \nHe continues with “It’s the bedbug problems in cities like Dayton and Louisville that prove bedbugs are back and can pop up anywhere. The bedbug problems in these cities out-space markets of far greater size despite their having a fraction of the population and typically fewer travelers and hotels.”\n<\/p>\n
