The traveler opted not to walk through a full body scanner and then decided that he didn&#8217;t want a pat-down either, claiming the pat-down was &#8220;sexual assault&#8221; because the front of the hand is now used as it is placed inside of the thighs in an intimate screening method. <\/p>\n<p>Tyner was told that the intimate pat-down is not considered &#8220;sexual-assault&#8221; to which he replied, &#8220;It would be if you weren&#8217;t the government.&#8221; Secretary of Homeland Security defended the modified pat-downs and body scanners. <\/p>\n<p>Tyner is not alone in feeling uncomfortable with the hi-tech privacy invasion and modified pat-downs.
