In addition, the new design will make each aircraft lighter and more fuel efficient.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe airline estimates that the new design will make each row about 30 pounds lighter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe cabin makeovers are a part of Lufthansa&rsquo;s new commitment to improving passenger comfort on shorter European flights.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nPassengers traveling in Economy Class on domestic flights will once again be offered snacks while those traveling on cross-border flights of more than two hours will be offered a hot meal. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Lufthansa will install about 32,000 new seats across its short and medium-haul fleet over the next year.
