\nThe Wynn Las Vegas is just over five years old, but Wynn Resorts CEO Steve Wynn and his workers are already nearing completion of a $99 million upgrade to the 2,700-room resort.\n<\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\nThe “renovate early and often” strategy is one that has been used by Wynn for years, first at the Golden Nugget and now at The Wynn Las Vegas.\n<\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\nWynn Design and Development Executive Vice President Roger Thomas recently explained the rationale behind the strategy, saying, “We like to stay ahead of the game. We have a lot of repeat guests and getting them into a different room is a way of honoring them, I think.”\n<\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\nEvery room at the Wynn has undergone a drastic make-over, with carpet and drapes replaced, bathrooms resurfaced, and furniture refurbished or replaced completely.\n<\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n

\nRenovations are now complete in the Wynn’s Resort Tower and are nearly 60 percent finished in the facility’s AAA Five Diamond-rated Tower Suites.\n<\/p>\n
