Holy protests, Batman! <\/strong><\/div>\n

According to multiple reports Wednesday, The Dark Knight Rises<\/em>, the next installment of Christopher Nolan\u2019s blockbuster Batman<\/em> series, may soon begin filming scenes at the site of Occupy Wall Street protests in New York City<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Though the reports are currently unconfirmed, they do seem to have some merit. The historic protests could serve as a perfect emulation of a chaos-filled Gotham for Nolan, a director who is obsessed with blurring the lines of \u201cillusionary realism.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

While attracting international press attention, the Occupy Wall Street protests have already become a pseudo-tourist attraction for those arriving on flights to New York City<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If scenes of a blockbuster film are really to be filmed there, tourist interest in the protests could skyrocket.<\/p>\n
