\nYes, the little ones will sometimes get bored about 10 minutes in and have to sneak a potty break somewhere in the second act. The best way to introduce your children to the magic and wonder of Broadway is to do it with a kid-friendly show that helps keep their interest  for the duration of the performance. \n<\/div>\n

\nBased on Roald Dahl's novel of the same name, Matilda<\/em> tells the tale of a little girl who is smart, courageous, and just daring enough to change her not-so-pleasant life. Matilda Wormwood is mistreated continually by her parents and sibling. Absorbed in books, she is a brilliant child, but is consistently mocked for stupidity. A cruel headmistress at school, Miss Trunchbull, also mistreats Matilda. Matilda grows deep into her imagination and is encouraged by a caring teacher to take a stand for herself and her future. The story is hilarious, sad, inspirational, and uplifting all at the same time. \n<\/div>\n
