\nNew York City<\/a> is full of great beer, but not surprisingly, most of it isn’t made here.  But don’t despair beer lovers!  If you’re traveling to New York this winter, not only can you avail of the beer gardens springing up in every borough, you can also visit some of New York’s finest breweries.  Though the city has many, very few are open to public visitors.  Here are three to check out on your trip to NYC. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nBrooklyn Brewery<\/a>\n<\/div>\n
\nLocated in the Williamsgburg\/Greenpoint area of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Brewery is home to what is New York’s most famous and probably most favorite local brews.  Visitors can go on a full brewery tour with tastings or book the tasting room for special events and parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nSixpoint Brewery<\/a>\n<\/div>\n
\nSixpoint is also located in Brooklyn, with a rich history and many fun events for visitors and beer enthusiasts. Though their current brewery tours are on hold during renovations, don’t let that stop you from checking out their popular events. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nChelsea Brewing Company<\/a>\n<\/div>\n
\nChelsea Brewing Company is more of a restaurant than what one would normally think of as a brewery.  There’s a large restaurant complete with a microbrewery and cigar room, and there’s even a driving range for Golf enthusiasts on the same pier.  The best part is the view is the Hudson River and of course their original brews.  \n<\/div>\n
