Photo credit: wallyg\" width=\"450\" height=\"340\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\nOne of the coolest things to see during the holiday season<br \/>\nis the New York Botanical Garden&rsquo;s Holiday Train Show. &nbsp;It&rsquo;s the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> year of this<br \/>\nspectacular event, which transforms the already marvelous Gardens into a<br \/>\nminiaturized city.&nbsp; The exhibit shows the<br \/>\ncity&rsquo;s best monuments, recreated using only plant and other natural material<br \/>\nthat&rsquo;s been repurposed to create these fantastic structures.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<br \/>\nVisitors can see over 140 structures, with a variety of<br \/>\nthemed and dedicated pavilions and special events occurring through January<br \/>\n12.&nbsp; The event is perfect for fans of the<br \/>\nGardens, the City, train enthusiasts, or families with children of all<br \/>\nages.&nbsp;&nbsp; If you&rsquo;re touring the City&rsquo;s<br \/>\nsites, the Holiday Train Show is a great way to conclude your trip because you<br \/>\ncan see all of your favorites in a tiny version, like the Statue of Liberty,<br \/>\nYankee Stadium, the Empire State Building, and the Brooklyn Bridge.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<br \/>\nAnother Pavilion holds the Holiday Adventures exhibit just<br \/>\nfor kids, with train themed craft activities and puppet making.&nbsp; The Streets of New York Holiday Dining<br \/>\nPavilion offers visitors a unique experience. Diners can choose from different<br \/>\nneighborhood themed stations, tying popular foods to their areas of origin<br \/>\nwithin the city.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<br \/>\nSpecial events include a <em>Thomas<br \/>\n&amp; Friends <\/em>musical, Carolers every weekend, a Classic Holiday Film<br \/>\nFestival, and special tours for visitors interested specifically in the botanical<br \/>\nsciences.
