\n \n \n<\/p>\n \nIn a press conference Monday, low-cost carrier JetBlue and Icelandair, the flagship carrier of Iceland, announced a new interline partnership that will provide easier connections for passengers connecting between JetBlue's U.S. and Caribbean destinations and Icelandair's Scandinavia, U.K., and Continental Europe destinations. \n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \nCustomers will be able to book one ticket for JetBlue and Icelandair flights with one-stop check-in and baggage transfer between the two carriers. Customers can start booking tickets under the new agreement later this week.\n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \n<\/span>Commenting on the news, Helgi Mar Bjorgvinsson<\/span>, Icelandair's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing said: "Icelandair and JetBlue share many of the same philosophies and place the customer's experience in the highest regard." \n<\/p>\n \n \n<\/p>\n \n"We're pleased to welcome Icelandair to the JetBlue network as our tenth partner airline," said Scott Resnick<\/span>, \n \n<\/p>\n
